Mission Name: The Maker of Monsters

Mission Type: Anyone from Zeppelin City who would take interest - Case, Charge, Survival, etc.



Story:

It started small.

An influx of cases, nothing too notable - most of them revolving around sudden and violent outbursts of creatures - some of them were things hunters had never seen before, and ZCPD was too stretched thin to make heads or tails of it. So they had to call in specialized help in the form of hunters. The Ruby Rivers case happened first - revealing the culprit was a mysterious woman named 'Tasmin' who turned Ruby, a normal teenage girl, into... something else entirely, and threw her entire life into a whirlwind of chaos.

Then there was another case, this one causing far more destruction and had Tasmin personally present. The Mine Case, where hunters followed a series of earthquakes and a ZCPD lean on old remains within the mining tunnels out in the desert town. A confrontation with a new creature named Umber Hulks revealed that this witch - this 'Tasmin' was doing things to control the ground dwelling monsters for some reason or another. Tasmin posed as a scientist investigating the creatures, and was outed when ZCPD found the real researchers body, leading to a confrontation with Kennedy Stark that ended when Tasmin fell through a hole when the sand gave out beneath her during the collapse.

But the new, strange creatures haven't stopped showing up.

Odd cases are flooding in by the day and ZCPD doesn't know how to manage them all. And more worrisome seems to be that a lot of creatures are starting to turn up with the same magic runes on their chests that the Umber Hulks in the mines have, and it seems to make creaturea that would never work with one another begin to work together and, worse - working together as cohesive units.

Someone's got to trace it back to Tasmin and put an end to it before she can finish doing whatever she seems to be doing with the local creature population.

NPCs:

Elias will be reoccurring to organize the hunter teams and send them on their cases. The various cases will have their own casts of NPCs of all kinds. Results may vary.
