☬ Flying/Airplanes
☬ The Unknown (every fairytale, myth, legend, could be true but you just don't know)
Goals (At Least 1):
★ She doesn't really have them anymore. She used to want to be a Forensic Science/Technology Specialist for the FBI but after losing her parents in 9/11 and the loss of her friends after graduation, she just wants to survive another day. Not get eaten by a werewolf, is that a fair goal?
Personality: Once upon a time, Ali was a fun, outgoing, well adjusted girl. She liked school. She liked to hang out with her friends and have fun. She was bright and cheerful. Now, she's a shell of her former self. Moody and broody would probably describe her pretty well. Once in a while, a glimmer of the girl she used to be might shine through but that's not her every day. Sometimes she might even put on a façade of being that happy-go-lucky girl, especially if it will stop people from trying to get her to talk about certain things. Whatever the case, she can sometimes seem all over the place.
Traits
✧ Extremely Smart (genius level)
✧ Analytical
✧ Observant
Negatives (At Least 3):
✦ Has kind of a cavalier attitude
✦ Doesn't trust people much
✦ Tends to be sullen at times

History:
You came from humble beginnings, at least your parents had. At first, it looked like things would be pretty good for you. You were born to a loving couple, a young couple who were just starting their life together. They were both college graduates, embarking on promising careers. Your parents were good people. They met in college. Waiting until after graduation they both started their careers. Then they got married. A couple years later they had you. You were their only daughter, their only child.
It was clear early on that you were very smart. Your parents encouraged you to learn since birth pretty much. You weren't just smart you were that super scary kind of smart. When you started school they had to bump you up to the next grade. They had to do that two years in a row because you were just too far ahead of the rest of the kids. The truth of it was, they probably could have moved you up even further but your parents were afraid of your social development. As it was, you were already a bit displaced. For you, what grade you were in really didn't matter at that point. Your parents, teachers and the school staff all worked together to keep you challenged and engaged in your schoolwork. You may have attended classes with the other kids but you were doing work well beyond them.
Sometimes you felt a little weird because you were younger than the rest of the kids in your class, but you adapted. You had friends and you kind of discovered a niche of your own online. You were truly that nerdy geek kind of kid but you embraced it. You worked hard on your schoolwork. When you weren't doing that though you loved everything that epitomized geek culture. Fantasy, sci-fi, Star Wars, Star Trek, Dungeons and Dragons, Comic books, superheroes, video games, role-playing games, comic cons, cosplay... the list goes on.
Computers were kind of your thing. Something your parents indulged in for you. Making sure you had the best they could get for you. With the entire Internet open to you, you learned even more at a faster rate. Your parents did everything they could to keep you engaged with school and let you grow up as normal as possible.
And it worked. Life was pretty good for you. Then your world got turned upside down.
Your parents died in the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. On your birthday, no less. As if that wasn't enough trauma for a teenager. After graduation, just trying to get your life back to normal with a camping trip with friends, the group was attacked by a vicious wolf-like creature. Your friends were ripped to shreds and killed, including your boyfriend Jason. You and a boy named Peter (who was Jason's best friend) were the only survivors.
Life went downhill from there...
Of course, no one believed you about the attack. Everyone thought you were crazy. It didn't help that the one person you shared the experience with, Peter, became obsessed with it. All you wanted to do was forget it ever happened and put everything behind you and move on. Sadly, that was a nearly impossible task.
All your hopes and dreams were now dashed. Your bright future of going to college and doing great things to help people were gone. None of it really mattered anymore. You had trouble focusing. Drinking became your solace more and more. Just to quiet your mind. Naturally, you became a bartender. Seemed like a reasonable job for someone who no longer had ambition for much else.
Peter had told you that he went back to those woods a year later. He said that he had killed the beast. It was some kind of werewolf or something. You just thought it was more of him being crazy. Or maybe you just didn't want to think about it. It didn't really matter anymore. Then a few years later, Peter disappeared. You don't know what happened to him. At least you don't have to listen to his stories anymore about werewolves, right?

Savannah came into the clubhouse through the back door. Coming into the kitchen to fix herself some hot chocolate before she went out to see what was happening today. No kids for a little while and she tried to take the opportunity to come and make her presence known. See if Simi needed any help keeping the home fires burning and all that.
What a difference a year makes, she thought to herself. Last Christmas she had just found out she was pregnant. Now she and Jesse were married with three kids and things at home were hectic to say the least. Twin baby girls were a handful and Jake was getting more and more independent. Pushing his boundaries. The boy was still adjusting to the massive change in his life that occurred over the last year and a half. Jake was developing a close bond with his father and that was a good thing. Things would settle down eventually and even if they didn't, what she had was worth it. Everything always came down to that. She had what was important and that's what really mattered.
A mug of hot chocolate in hand, Savannah made her way out to the main room. Quietly looking around to see who was there. She spied Simi by herself, seemingly lost in thought, staring at the Christmas tree. Not wanting to intrude on the other woman's solitude Savannah moved quietly in Simi's direction. She looked up at the tree and spotted the personalized memorial ornaments and a small smile tipped her lips. It wasn't too hard to guess what Simi was thinking about.
"Seems like such a long time since last Christmas. Doesn't it? The ornaments were a great idea. A nice touch."
Reaching out she let a finger touch the teddy bear ornament with Cope's name on it. They had lost a lot since last year. Been through so much in such a short period of time. It's no wonder why people were reeling and on edge. Now they were plopped down in another completely new and volatile situation. Another Christmas where doom and gloom loomed over their heads.
Well, to hell with that.
They made it through last year and even had a good Christmas at the old cabin out in the woods. By God, they could do it again this year. Come hell or high water Savannah wanted to make that so.
"It's all what we make of it, you know. Things have been rough, but we've been through rough before. We can do this. Even with the hard times, we have a lot to be thankful for. We should celebrate it. Maybe we should have a Christmas party or something. Make it mandatory."
Savannah chuckled a bit at that.
"We'll force everyone to have fun and be happy. Damn it, it's Christmas time. We're owed that. We need it."
