Personality: Hannah can be a bit of a wild child... a loose canon. Having gotten a small taste of fame and success, she knows exactly what she wants and probably thinks she deserves more than she does. She isn't particularly bad or 'evil', but she usually knows what she wants and doesn't care whose toes she has to step on to get there. She likes to drink and live it up and sometimes lives a little recklessly, much to the chagrin of her manager, Mark, who usually has to pick up the pieces left behind from her carelessness.
That being said, she isn't completely flighty or self-centered. Hannah donates a good portion of any money she earns to charity, particularly to medical research. When it comes to her career, she takes it extremely seriously and gives it 110%... the music aspect of it, at least. Sometimes it's difficult to convince her to do things that she deems a waste of time... those meetings and interviews that her publicist sets up for her. Sure, she always pulls through in the end, but that doesn't mean she doesn't complain about it later.
When it comes to romance, she's not really looking. There was one guy what feels like forever ago who pretty much swept her off her feet one amazing weekend, and then it was over. Just like that. For a short while she looked for him but was unsuccessful, and then music became her love. Her focus is on her career and she hasn't found a guy who is worth more of her time than that. For now, flings and one night stands are good enough. But who knows... maybe Mr. Right is out there somewhere...

History:
As an angel Kyrael did everything she was supposed to do. She was loyal to God and Heaven and followed every order she was given to the letter. She watched over and protected humanity and praised the Lord through song. If angels had human emotions, she probably would have been happy. Ot content, at least. But when war broke out and Lucifer was cast out of heaven, she was torn. No matter his wrong-doing, he was her brother and she felt as though he had been wronged... abandoned.
Still she kept quiet about it for a long time, until she got word that there were some who were trying to free Lucifer from his cage through the means of Lucifer's first, Lilith and a 'special' child. Kyrael wanted to free her brother and so, in secret, she went behind the backs of her brothers and sisters in order to assist Azazel in finding the 'one'. But it didn't take long for her deception to catch up to her and soon she found herself on the run from heaven. Fearing the repercussions of her actions, she chose to rip out her grace and fall to earth in order to go into hiding.
----
On April 22, 1987, Hannah Beth Grayson was born to a couple who had tried for over a decade to have a child. Debbie Grayson was nearing the end of her child-bearing years and the two had gone through several fertility treatments and had finally resorted to desperate prayer, which seemed to be the answer. They were overjoyed and devoted everything they had to their little girl, doing everything within their power to fulfill even her most outrageous wishes.
Hannah wanted to become a singer ever since dozing off on the couch with her mother after watching Coyote Ugly. Singing great songs with your best friends and dancing... looked like the sort of thing she wanted to grow up to do. As she grew up, so did her love for country music. She sang in the church choir and performed in school talent shows. As a teenager she would often sing at the birthday parties and other special occasions of family and friends. When she was thirteen she was given a lovely, leather-bound journal meant to be used as a diary. Hannah instead used it to write poetry in, which she eventually tried converting to songs.
As soon as she turned eighteen, Hannah moved to Nashville on her own, leaving everything behind. Her parents had been good to her but she didn't want anyone or anything holding her back from her dream. She took on a job waitressing at a local bar and grill while she pursued her music career, singing at open mic nights and sending demos to recording executives and anyone else who might have some sort of connection to the life of fame she wanted to live. When she was twenty she was discovered by her current manager, who ended up getting her a record deal with a small company.
Unfortunately that record deal didn't give her much more than local fame and auccess. When she turned twenty-one she tried to gain more of a name for herself but did so in the wrong way. Her late nights of drinking and wild parties only led to rumors which led to more bad behavior which led to scandal which led to eventually being dropped by her record label. Heartbroken and shamed, her life went on a downward spiral and she became more reckless and fell into a pretty deep, dark depression.
It was a little over two years ago when things changed. The voices came. She remembers the first thing that she heard in her head... "Lucifer has been caged again." Hannah of course kept the fact that she was hearing voices hidden from anyone and everyone around her, but she started using what she heard as inspiration to write new material. The idea that she may be suffering from some sort of mental disorder was terrifying, but at the same time her creative juices were flowing like crazy. Within a couple of months she had written over a dozen new songs. Her manager got right to work at getting her in the studio to lay down these new tracks and hired a new publicist to help turn her image around.
The new songs were a major hit around Nashville and Hannah was on her way to the top. She recently signed a new record deal and released her debut album, which has risen up to number nine on the Billboard charts and is still climbing. Her first released single, "Caged Sin" has already made her a household name, and in June she joins two other artists from her label for a Summer tour.
Things are finally looking up. She just hopes those voices don't go away... and that nobody finds out about them and has her committed.

Kate was writing something on another patient's chart, emerging from said patient's room when she overheard the man at the nurse's station insisting that they inform the doctor that his brother was awake. She recognized him of course, having been the doctor who admitted his brother in the first place and having been in and out of his room a several times, and she approached him and talked with him for a minute or so before walking back to Sam's room with him.
Grabbing the chart from the holder outside the door, she knocked on the door frame before walking in with a professional, cheerful smile. "Well look who finally decided to wake up?" she said brightly, nodding to the dark-haired man who was visiting before approaching Sam's bedside. She opened his folder and looked it over for a moment. scribbling a few things down before closing it again and setting it on the machine cart. "Now that we can officially meet, my name is Dr. Devereaux, but most people call me Dr. Kate since there are two of us in this hospital."
