Full Name: Ithuriel.
Nickname/Alias: Nope.
Age/Date Of Birth: Ageless. His vessel is about 30 years old.
Race: Angel
Occupation: Heaven’s Minion.
Species Group: Seraph
Play-By: Sebastian Ströbel
Abilities
- Possession: Angels possess human bodies to take human form, they can heal their vessel and vessels don’t require sleep or food while the angel is inside. Angels need permission to possess an individual.
- Astral Projection: Angels can project their wings onto surfaces at will. If one is killed by an Angel Blade, its wings are burned onto the surface on which they died.
- Super Strength: The physical strength of an angel in a vessel is unknown, it's possible that their strength is unlimited as it doesn't come from the vessels muscles but instead their angelic power. They also have an extreme control on their strength as they have been shown to punch through walls but also non-fatally punch humans.
- Telekinesis: Angels have the ability to move and influence objects with their minds.
- Teleportation: Angels have the ability to teleport anywhere in the world as long as the area is not protected by Enochian sigils. They can teleport themselves and other beings.
- Smiting: Angels are able to destroy low to mid-level demons with a simple touch by placing a hand on the forehead of the possessed individual. In seraphs, this form of touch can also kill creatures and humans if the angel desires so.
- Sedation: Angels are able to render humans unconscious with a touch by placing two fingers on their foreheads.
- Healing: Angels can cause the wounds, diseases, and toxins of another being to heal instantaneously. When angels are disconnected from Heaven, they lose this power. Ironically enough, it seems it hurts quite a lot to be healed by an angel.
- Supernatural Perception: Angels are able to see almost all supernatural activity around them. They can also sense any location, being, or object not protected by Enochian Symbols..
- Telepathy: Angels have the ability to communicate using their minds. Seraphs can easily read the minds of humans, and lower Angels, such as cupids.
- Dream Walking: Angels can enter human dreams in order to communicate with them. They do not need to know where the person is to use this ability.
- Invisibility: Angels, even while occupying vessels, can render themselves unseen.
- Chronokinesis: The ability to move through time. Seraphs can travel through time, with greater ease than lower angels, and they are also able to send others either forward or backwards through time, with the same ease. They can send others through time without having to travel with them as well.
- Temporal Awareness: Angels are capable of becoming aware whenever any alteration occur within the time-stream, allowing them to discern alternate timelines and the like. With this, Angels like Castiel and a younger Uriel have identified other time-travellers in this manner. This ability also makes them aware of reality warping and timeline changes.
- Electronic Manipulation: Angels can manipulate electrical appliances. Castiel caused a dozen car alarms to stop by raising his hand.
- Knowledge of all prophets: All angels have the names of every prophet who has existed or will exist seared into their minds. This ability makes them aware of fake prophets.
- Mental manipulation: Powerful angels have the ability to take away, modify, and restore a human's memories. Angels can also implant fake memories. Seraphs can even enter a person's mind and bring others inside that mental world, but require physical contact with both people to do so.
- Angel protection: An angel can protect an individual (commonly their future vessels) from most forms of physical damage. This degree of protection is linked to an angel's power. Castiel was able to prevent his vessel Jimmy Novak from burning his hand on a pot of boiling water as a sign of faith. Raphael was capable of making Crowley immune to Castiel's angelic killing touch.
- Resurrection: Angels can bring the dead back to life. However, they must know where all the pieces of the original body are, and they must have the soul of the subject. However, if the soul is in Heaven, they apparently don't need to physically retrieve it.
- Voice Mimicry: Angels can perfectly mimic the voice of mortals.
- Souls: Angels are able to read the souls of humans, by reaching into a human's chest, however it is a painful experience for the human. They can also use the soul as a source of energy, but the pain is even greater for the human, and there is the risk of an explosion if the angel is not careful. They can also assimilate souls into themselves like Castiel did with the ones inside purgatory.
- Pyrokinesis: Castiel displays the ability to burn through ropes holding him, even before he becomes a Seraph. Seraphs can generate and manipulate fire.
- Advanced Vessel Locking: Powerful angels can hold a demon in smoke form as if it was tangible and force the demon to return to its vessel. This was demonstrated by Castiel on Ellsworth.
- Biokinesis: Seraphs manipulate or influence a mortal's body, such as inflict pain down to the molecular level, like causing internal bleeding, removal of lungs, and hemorrhages.
- Reality Warping: Seraphs possess low level reality warping abilities, Castiel was able to assemble a game by simply shaking the box. Zachariah was able to undo all the damage Dean did to the Green Room, in a blink.
- Power Removal: Seraphs are capable of removing powers from empowered humans, however, it can leave them mentally damaged to do so and is very painful to the individual losing the power.
- Holy White Light: High ranking angels can unleash a concentrated blast of pure light energy from their palms and control its destructiveness, ranging from incinerating a room full of monsters to obliterating entire buildings. Castiel demonstrated the sheer lethality and power of this ability by killing an entire room of Jefferson Starships with one blast. Regular angels may also have this ability, as Metatron has been shown to use it.
Empowerment of vessel:
- Super Senses - All angels enhance their vessels senses to superhuman level. Angels possess an acute sense of smell. Their sense of smell is heightened to the point where they can identify people by smelling their body, bone or by their blood. Angels can also identify people by sniffing their genes and hormones as well. Because angels operate on a different plane of existence, they can see atoms and ions which are impossible for humans to see. Angels can hear a humans conversations miles away from them, and they are somehow able to locate any human on the planet and find them, but they can't locate people if they are protected by an Enochian charm or symbol.
- Super Stamina - While the vessel's body is occupied by the angel. The body will not require food, water or oxygen. The body doesn't need to sleep. No amount of physical exertion will cause fatigue. Essentially they can keep going forever with no rest or sustenance. If the angel's grace is ripped from the vessel while the angel is in it the body will revert to human and will require food, water, oxygen, sleep and bathing.
- Regeneration and Healing - If an angel's vessel is damaged, it will repair itself nearly instantly unless the wound was caused by angelic weaponry. The vessel also appears resistant to diseases while the angel is inside. However, when Castiel is on the verge of becoming mortal, Pestilence is able to infect him. Possessed vessels do not seem to age. Also, weakened angels in vessels can become drunk, but it takes an extremely large amount of alcohol. This was the case with Castiel. An angel's ability to maintain and heal its vessel can be used to repair fatal damage that even their healing power can't fix.
- Immortality - Seraphs, like all angels, by nature, can't die by any natural means of death. They are impervious to bullets, knives, bombs, and any other conventional human ways of killing.
- Invulnerability - To date, the only things capable of killing angels are Angel Blades, Holy Fire, a stronger angel, Death, God, and Leviathans. Archangels have even fewer weaknesses, as Michael wasn't killed by the Holy Fire, and they can only be killed by Archangel Blades, though it's unknown if they can be killed by Angel Blades. It has been stated that Death's Scythe can kill angels.
- Note on Super-strenght - As a higher species of angel, seraphs are extremely strong. They can lift at least 2,000 pounds, as demonstrated by Castiel, and overpower and destroy humans, spirits, highest tier of demons, monsters (as well as Alphas), and low-tier angels, but are completely inferior against Archangels. Seraphs are also strong enough to fight two Leviathans for at least a short time when other angels are easily overpowered by them. Castiel lifted an anvil that weighed a ton, without effort and was able to rupture a stone wall just by touching it.
Weaknesses:
- Angel blade - As demonstrated when Dean stabs and kills Zachariah.
Angel Blade Bullets - Bullets forged from melted-down angel blades were shown to be effective against angels. However, like an angel blade, the bullet must enter a fatal area, such as the brain. - Angel-Banishing Sigil - When activated, such a mark can temporarily banish Seraphim. If a person places his or her hand upon this blood seal that is placed upon something then all angels in the immediate area will be banished away. An angel can activate this seal as well. If an angel activates the seal then the angel who activates the seal will not be banished along with the other angels in the area. The blood seal can also be place upon a person's body. If an angel activates the seal this way (carved into its vessel's chest), he or she will be banished along with the other angels.
- Archangels - As angelic beings found on the highest echelon of the heavenly host, archangels can easily kill seraphs. Raphael, who was much weaker than Michael, certainly enjoyed and took his time beating the seraph Castiel to a bloody pulp, effortlessly. When Castiel was so beat up he was immobilized, Raphael was about to kill him when Balthazar intervened. Zachariah believed that when Michael came to give him a second chance, he was going to kill him and didn't even try to fight back.
- Commanding Angels - Commanding Angel's powers can kill Seraphs.
- Princes of Hell - Princes of Hell's powers can kill Seraphs.
- Exorcism Chant - There is an exorcism chant to expel angels from their human vessels and send them back to heaven. It seems that the chant is not well known as the only entity to use it was Alastair. The Whore of Babylon also knew an enochian chant which causes Angels severe pain.
- Vessel Expulsion - A vessel possesses the ability to expel the angel possessing them if they so choose depending on their strength of will and willingness to be possessed. However, while the angel is rendered bodiless, they do not seem to be harmed in any other way.
- Weapons of Heaven - Harms angels and archangels; so far it has been shown that a weapon of Heaven can destroy an archangel's human vessel so that it can not be resurrected as seen with Donnie Finnerman, the true vessel of Raphael.
- Death's Scythe - This item is said to have the power to reap any living being, whether it be human, demon, angel, and its rumored to even be able to reap Death himself. So far it has been seen to kill a reaper which is an indicator that it is very powerful.
- Leviathan - Being older than angels in general, leviathans are able to overpower seraphim and prevent them from using their abilities such a teleportation when they want. However, Seraphs are somewhat capable of holding their own against the Old Ones.
- God - God can kill any Angel on his command.
- Cambion/ Anti-Christ - the offspring of a human and demon can easily overpower angels, even able to destroy the entire Host of Heaven with a word.
- Hellhounds (possibly) - Hellhounds might be able to harm or kill Angels as upon their approach Castiel ran along with Dean, Sam, Meg and two other Demons.
- Colt - Castiel believed that the Colt was the only thing that could possibly kill Lucifer. Although, a shot to the head failed to kill Lucifer, it's unknown if the Colt is capable of killing other regular angels, but as only five beings are immune to it its probable.
- Common Angelic Weaknesses - They are vulnerable to Holy Oil, Heaven's weapons, etc.

Personality: Ithuriel has very calmed demeanor, for him his duty as an angel is everything. He can be serious, unemotional, relaxed or observant. Depending on what’s happening around him. He doesn't understand emotions so he is rarely sympathetic. He is not particularly impressed or charmed by humanity but, he considers them valuable merely because God created them and assigned angels to protect them. So in short, he thinks helping a human is a mere job and not a work of compassion. And doesn’t really understands why his heart grow three times every time he does it

When he was hiding on earth he struggled to understand humans. Other; than his time trying to convert humans. Ithuriel has very poor social skills and would simply choose not to engage in too much contact with people. He can carry a very simple conversation and would always speak politely, keeping a certain distance in his treatment even if this is a human he has seen more than once. Even when he feels something he tries to shun it out and ignore it. Emotions are kind of an alien thing to him and he really doesn’t know what to do with them. He was perceived as a kind of stoic guy and he never completely adapted to neither act nor felt a strong need to pretend he was more emotional.
Whenever a human speaks with “words he doesn’t understand” he just disregards what is being said. Ithuriel rarely will inquire in idiomatic expressions and if the meaning of something is lost to him he will ignore what was being said as a whole. Ithuriel understands that maybe telling people what he is; could be too much for them to handle and if possible he’ll feign being a human for the sake of appearances. Though, he really doesn’t care about people’s emotions. I mean, they can affect him but, he wouldn’t understand why and would not want to respond in way unfit for an angel. He never gave up his alliance to heaven and is proud of what he is.
The way he behaves towards other angels is also somewhat distant. Even if all of them share the same worries and pain. He cares a lot more about angels then he does about people. He may act differently and show concern if one of his brothers or sisters is endangered and would try to protect them to the best of his ability. Even if he doesn’t realize it or admit it he feels disgust when angels fight and kill each other. But if he is ordered to kill a sibling, he will. He finds easier to receive orders (whatever the order may be) than making his own choices and quite frankly doesn’t see a reason why an angel should operate any other way.
I imagine whenever he does feel and emotion he very much the way Castiel did when the apocalypse was about to be unleashed and he failed to act on his instinct to help the Winchesters. He would probably still try and act like a good angel who follows heaven and would even go against his basic instinct of being actually good and helping out. That is how much he feels connected to his duties and the orders that are given to him.

History:
Ithuriel’s job as an angel was to live in heaven and watch out some things there, he never had great responsibilities and mostly obeyed any order coming from the ranks above. If the order was to watch out a person’s heaven or keep tabs on other angel there, he did it. He did as he was told and just waited to be told something else. Like many of his siblings, he is connected mentally so, he has known about Michael plan’s from the get go. He never questioned the reason for angels to help break out the seals and frankly since he wasn’t in earth he disregarded any thought about the morality of the issue.
He kept doing his job and was never sent to earth to do nothing to the seals. He was however unable to reach a conclusion when war in heaven broke out. He simply couldn’t choose a side and he didn’t. When eventually he heard that Castiel had decided to proclaim himself the new “God” he decided to leave heaven and went to earth to look for a vessel. It took him a while but, he found a vessel. Sadly, Ithuriel realized that now he was without a purpose: Not really knowing which orders he should follow. So, he simply travelled spreading the gospel to whoever would listen to him.
His dealings with people were hard most people were cynical and many of them had no interest in what he had to say. Nevertheless, there were some humans that were even overenthusiastically involved. Once he met a group that talked about killing everyone who wasn’t a believer Ithuriel had to walk away from them because honestly there were no standing orders regarding non-believers in heaven. As far as he knew they went to hell. There was no need to feed more demons to the other side. He also ran into a crew of people hunting a demon they said it was named Zera. Ithuriel quickly lost interest when the description of this “demon’s” abilities were more akin to something else.
Ithuriel soon found out about these gory nightmarish things calleds Leviathans. For the first time in a while he decided to go back to heaven and so he did. This time however he decided that following whoever’s command was alright, he just went with whatever was going on there. Giving his experience on earth, he was tasked with looking for fallen angels. An order he promptly complied, he traveled all across the earth looking for angel’s graces or angels that had kept their graces but, were hiding on earth. Ithuriel’s modus operandi was to look for any signs, then look for the missing angel. If he found the angel his job wasn’t to bag and tag it immediately. First, he merely reported back to heaven the location of the angel.
Sometimes however he was required to make a first approach or was asked to even carry the angel back home. He brought some of them back, some came of their own will some others had to be coerced and some more he actually failed to report them in. Most of the time though, he would report the location of the angel in question and someone else would take care of it. (In a manner that could not be called delicate). And until now that is what he has been doing as he hasn’t been receiving new orders..

Ithuriel pondered while he waited in the old barn wondering what would have been of the nice hunter that had hidden him there in a hasty attempt to protect him from a hungry werewolf. She saw him in the forest and followed her natural impulse of helping a stranger. Unbeknownst to her was the fact that Ithuriel was not your regular bloke. Ithuriel deliberated whether he should go out and help or merely allow the human to solve it. There has been a long while since the blonde woman had left and there was the possibility that she was wounded.
Ithuriel finally choose to leave the ‘safety’ of the barn. After all he wasn’t in any real danger; if the werewolf had known what he was he suspected it would have fled the scene out of self preservation. Not that he cared about the creature, no, he had been tracking the fall of grace in the middle of a forest, the fact that he had ran into this hunter and her prey was of no concern for him. If the beast dared to get in his way he would dispose of it. He would deal with the hunter in a different way, though. Although, he suspected she wasn’t likely to get in his way.
1, 2, 3. The werewolf attacked him. Ithuriel went to the ground and the werewolf started ripping his vessel’s clothes apart. With a swift movement of his arm he sent the creature flying to the trees. He got up and poofed next to the creature placing his hand on the werewolf forehead and efficiently disposing of it. The werewolf died and reverted back to its human form. Ithuriel didn’t stay there to see it since he had walked away once he was done with the smiting. As he walked through the trees; he heard a pained sound his head quickly turned in the direction and there was the huntress laying in pool of blood her shotgun on the ground next to her body.
Ithuriel made his way toward the wounded human and kneeled down next to her with a serious unemotional face. She said something but, he wasn’t really listening to her. Her dying words were of no importance. Ithuriel extended his hand towards her placing his hand on her chest and he closed his eyes healing her. The woman began twitching and screamed a little. If Ithuriel had cared to seen her face he would have known she was terrified. That was one of the few emotions he understood a little. Not that he cared about how she felt. When he was done he got up and began walking again.
He could hear the confused hunter speaking to him and asking question but, he ignored her. Right now he just wanted to find and retrieve that grace.
