Full Name: Miles Cornelius Erickson
Nickname/Alias: Millie, Magic Miles
Age/Date Of Birth: 27; May 29th, 1986
Race: Human
Occupation: Drummer for the band Trinity
Species Group: Hunter
Play-By: Justin Timberlake
Abilities
Miles has no special abilities but he is a very capable hunter. He knows quite a bit about the supernatural and knows how to use a wide variety of weapons. He would be known as a 'brawler' when it comes to fighting, and tends to prefer melee weapons like iron pipes, brass knuckles, stuff like that. He's also totally down to use whatever cool gadgets Tristan has for him. >D
Although he is a pretty good hunter, Miles also possesses a very real talent with music related things and has impeccable rhythm. He can play the drums, guitar, trumpet and he is also a very good singer and dancer. If he picks up an instrument and puts his mind to it, he can learn it relatively quickly.

Personality: Miles is the sort of guy that seems to have limitless energy most of the time. He’s very outgoing and isn’t delusional when it comes to the typical lifespan of a hunter, so he just wants to live life to the fullest and do things that make him happy. These things usually include activities that get his adrenaline pumping, such as performing on stage and hunting evil things. However skydiving, paragliding and parachuting out of a plane are also things that he finds fun. This attitude also applies to his approach when dealing with people. While he can be well spoken and a nice guy, he isn't afraid to speak his mind or tell people the way things are even if they aren't happy with him afterwards. He gets right to the point if he needs to, believing life is too short to spend beating around the bush.
He thinks of himself as quite the ladies man, and he is undoubtedly very smooth and a huge flirt, even with women that have boyfriends. He doesn’t want to steal them away or anything but he can be overfriendly at times. He just sees it as his way of complimenting a beautiful woman, and he is never vulgar or rude. While Miles doesn't fear commitment, he is a bit weary at the thought of relationships. Deep down he feels that he wouldn't be good enough 'boyfriend material' for anyone, and that there doesn't seem to be anyone that can keep up with his somewhat crazy lifestyle. He isn't actively looking for a girlfriend, but if someone catches his interest that's another story.
Miles can be quite full of himself at times and even be downright cocky when he is sure he is right or that he will win in a fight or any activity, really. He can be fiercely competitive and a sore loser if he doesn’t win at something. This stems from a deep rooted insecurity he has about not being good enough, so he tries to overcompensate with his competitive nature and has even been known to be a show off when it comes to his talents (Not at shows of course, he isn't a jerk).
Miles is well aware that he is a bit older than the other members of the band, so he is pretty much the ‘big brother’ of the group. He has grown rather protective of them and even if he feels like he doesn’t quite fit in sometimes, he will do whatever it takes to protect them and give his all to the band.

History: Miles was born and raised for the most part in Portland, Oregon and was an only child in the Erickson household. Both of his parents had set careers in business and honestly weren’t planning on having children but well, things happen. However they welcomed Miles into the world and loved him very much, even if they weren’t around as much as he would have liked. His childhood was pretty typical and even though his parents worked a lot they managed to spend time together, and Miles really never went without anything…one could say he was even a bit spoiled. He didn’t run into any problems until his family moved to Southern Washington for a new business opportunity and Miles started at a new Junior High School.
Miles started getting bullied, pretty much from day one when he began attending the new school. He was a small kid, a bit scrawny and kept to himself most of the time. The kids noticed that he was ‘spoiled’ so they immediately thought of him as snobby, while the more popular kids deemed him not cool enough to hang out with him. Miles did manage to make a couple friends but those Junior High years were pretty rough. Not to mention that his parents were gone even more due to work, so a lot of the time he was in the care of his Uncle or the housekeeper/nanny they had.
It got to the point that Miles hated going home, so he would usually stay after school and hole up in the library to do homework or read. One day he heard someone playing the drums so he ventured to where he heard the sound coming from to find the music teacher, Mr. Chromey, playing an awesome drum solo in his classroom. Miles liked music and listening to just about any genre, but had never thought about joining the class…he was worried that he would get made fun of for sounding bad or screwing up. He didn’t say anything and just watched him play, but after a few days of listening Miles finally opened up and the two would chat about music. He finally confided in the teacher his fears even though he really wanted to learn now, so Mr. Chromey began teaching him for a little while after school.
Miles quickly became fascinated by all the different instruments and genres, but his first ‘love’ was the drums. He also discovered a love for singing that he didn’t even know he had. The teacher was surprised by how quickly he could read the notes and pick up on things…Miles was a natural. Whichever instrument he picked up, he learned it quickly and once he had that confidence he needed the teacher urged him to join his advanced band class and play in their school band to which Miles agreed. Bullies would still try and get under his skin but he didn’t care: He found a passion that would change his life forever.
Just before Miles started High School, he had quite the growth spurt and filled out considerably, and soon the bullies he had before were wise to keep their mouth shut otherwise someone else would shut it for them. He wasn’t really sure how this happened, all he knew was that people were being nicer to him and actually taking time to get to know him instead of just assuming things. Damn, even girls wanted to hang out with him…this was all new to him. He continued to play all kinds of music in high school and even joined a band with a few juniors and seniors because he was the best drum player in school. He even wrote some of the songs they performed at school dances and parties.
His parents weren’t all that pleased because they wanted him to focus on sports and business type things for his career later in life. So you can then imagine their displeasure when he decided to go to college to major in music…they threatened not to help him pay for it, and he said ‘Oh good, then I’ll work for it myself.’ With the help of a few music based grants and loans, he made it possible to attend college. He studied musicology/music history and music entertainment, because he wanted to perform music. The band that he played with in high school showed him that. He was always willing to play for others the drums, electric and acoustic guitar, trumpet or even sing and dance. He loved the attention, and making people happy with what he could do.
For three years he loved his normal life, then on the night of his 21st birthday, things changed considerably. His friends threw him a massive party on campus and Miles was having a great time…most of that was due to a hot brunette who seemed to be interested only in him. They drank and flirted and the next thing he knew they were kissing intensely. She said let’s get out of here, and he obliged right away…unknown to him, he had fallen under the spell of a siren. As he was driving her out of the party, she talked about how hard it must be to have parents who didn’t support him and he would be better off without them…and that they could truly be together if Miles went to their house right now and killed them both.
There was no fighting against it; Miles wanted nothing more than to make this beautiful woman happy with him so he started driving to his parents’ house. Unknown to them they were being followed by a certain hunting team…when the siren and Miles got out of the car a fight ensued. An older man was trying to keep hold of the siren. Infuriated, Miles rushed forward to save her when suddenly a redhead was cutting his arm with a bronze blade and throwing it at the woman, killing her. He was so confused as he shook his head and held it with his hands, his mind becoming clearer by the second and horrified at what he could have done.
Afterwards they explained to him what she was, and Miles couldn’t believe it. He wanted to know more but seeing the normal life that he had, Alessandra urged him not to dig in too deeply. She and Zach stuck around for a little while to help Miles out, and Alessa even exchanged numbers with him in case he needed anymore help, then they went on their way. He kept in touch with Alessa quite a bit, and even with all her warnings he wanted to know more about things. She provided him with information, meaning for it to be used in defense of these creatures but Miles couldn’t just do anything with what he had experienced. So he ended up meeting up with another hunter who showed him the ropes, and he started out with small cases until he graduated from college.
Miles didn’t see why he couldn’t hunt and be a performer so he ended up doing both. He would perform at restaurants and bars independently, or he would play with others if they needed a guitarist or a drum player. He didn’t get incredibly famous or anything, but his name became somewhat popular within the entertainment circuit. A few years later he was asked to fill in for a guitar player who became ill, for someone named ‘Alexis Sinclair’ and he was available so he took the job. His jaw could have hit the floor when he realized that Alexis was actually Alessandra. They were both quite shocked to see one another, and after catching up she was glad that he didn’t completely give up his dream to be a hunter. They performed that night and the crowed was in an uproar, asking for two encores.
They performed quite a bit together after that while also hunting together, and got to know each other well. Miles found himself catching some feelings for the talented, kickass and beautiful redhead, so when he finally mustered up the courage to ask her out she agreed. They dated for almost a year, and in that time Miles was heard by someone one performance night while he was playing the drums. A few phone calls were made and then the man approached Miles the next night and asked if he wanted to be a drum player for a band called Trinity. After some more conversation, he wasn’t sure if he would fit into that genre of music but he was willing to give it a try. He auditioned and got the spot in the band quickly due to his talents. As always, he wanted to do his best and promised that he would help the band in any way he could.
His and Alessa’s relationship hit some problems and they split up on good terms, finding that the only real thing they shared was a passion for music and didn’t have much else in common. Not to mention they both wanted different things at the time: Alessandra wanted something more serious, while Miles seemed content in continuing things the way they were. They did remain friends and fellow hunters, one helping the other if needed. After this he decided to focus on his music and has been playing with Trinity ever since, growing closer to his band mates and becoming protective of them. It was also quite a shock to find out that they were hunters too and it seemed like the perfect fit.

RP Sample: This had to be a horrible nightmare. It was hard to explain what was happening as anything else, but unfortunately this was all very real. Rows upon rows of people stood and faced a large stage, each probably thinking what Alessandra was; For the love of God, don't call my name. Who would want to be a part of such a sick game? Killing each other off in a massive arena, all to entertain masses of entitled and disgustingly painted figures. Seriously, what ever happened to watching a movie or going to a concert? Staring forward with a face set in stone, Alessa slowly glanced around her. There were so many people she didn't know, not even a name to place with their faces...that would not make things any easier of course. Then the people she knew all two well; good friends, people she had trusted with her life. Her gaze quickly passed over Zach and she nodded once, hoping that her face was clear of any fear as she tried to keep that emotion deep down inside. Names of the females continued to be called, Alessa only placing a few...and then it happened.
Alessandra De Luca!
It was as if she was at the end of a long tunnel and someone was calling her name from the other end...everything sounded so far away, and the huntress could feel so many eyes fall on her. She saw Zach staring at her but there was no way she could look at him again, instead she lifted her chin and stood a bit taller as two guards in white approached her. While being escorted, Alessa felt another set of eyes on her, belonging to someone that she cared about deeply. She wasn't sure if she could bring herself to glance in his direction...but after a moment, she met his gaze. Lyle...Oh god. He was always the strong one, but the look of terror and shock on his face made her knees almost give out. She quickly shook her head and mouthed 'It's okay, baby...it'll be okay' although that was not the case at all. She wanted to tell him how much she loved him, kiss him just once more...say goodbye. Reaching the stage, she still kept her chin up and her gaze above the crowd because she would be damned if any kind of weakness showed in her expression. She prayed as hard as she could that Lyle and Zach's name weren't called when it was time for the males to be called. The only male she recognized at first was Austin, glancing his way and nodding once. Then his dad was called, and her heart clenched thinking about how utterly fucked up that situation was. This was all a bunch of bull-
Zachary Morgan!
No. No no no...this couldn't be fucking happening. She quickly glanced his way, her eyes wide as the fear started to show on her face. He made his way onto the stage and mouthed something to her, she didn't get what it was at first but then she realized what he had said. Taking a deep breath, she tightly closes her eyes and bows her head down, slowly breathing out and deep down still hoping to wake up. That wasn't going to happen, and that left only one option: Fight.
